MEDIATION
A Better Way to Resolve Conflicts

We also offer ... Mediation as an Alternative to Dispute Resolution
What is it? Mediation is a process designed to help participants to resolve disputes without resorting to litigation or other adversarial modes of dealing with conflict. It is also an approach to help two parties achieve a win-win outcome when they are stuck in negative judgements of each other. By seeking a solution acceptable to both sides, mediation promotes better understanding between disputants, costs less, and results in more lasting agreements than other kinds of conflict resolution.
It can be used for those kinds of disputes that are emotionally sensitive, and when other forms of conflict resolution are inappropriate. As a result, this approach has proven effective in a wide range of two party conflict.
Mediation encourages constructive communication in a non-adversarial atmosphere where the third party acts as a facilitator helping the parties involved generate creative win-win alternatives in a cooperative as opposed to an adversarial atmosphere.
