Our EAP Services
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) serve organizations and their employees in multiple ways, from individual assistance for employees and family members experiencing personal difficulties to strategic management consultations. Employees and their household family members have 24/7 access to confidential assessments, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and if needed, referral to other resources in the community.
In general, an EAP is designed to improve and/or maintain the workplace's productivity and healthy functioning and address an organization's particular business needs. EAPs have proven to reduce overall costs, and decrease turnover, absenteeism, health care premiums, and drug-free workplace liability while increasing employee productivity and job satisfaction.
Confidential Counseling Services Virtual & In-person
HDC provides clinically trained professional counselors to assess participants' problems and provide brief, problem-focused counseling. Emergency requests for services will be afforded immediate attention. Access to counseling will be available through self, supervisor, medical, or another referral avenue. All client records are maintained on a confidential basis. The identification and/or information of any such person shall not be revealed without the express written permission of the individual involved, unless the individual presents a risk of harm to self or others, or if otherwise required by law.
HDC provides a comprehensive Work/Life website and service at no additional charge, to assist with additional resources, training materials, self-assessments, news articles, additional references, etc. Topics of interest will include, but are not limited to: interview skills, legal and financial services, elder care/aging parents, childcare, divorce, marriage, empty nest, drugs, alcohol, physical/mental/verbal abuse, deployment, depression, weight management, healthy diet, eating disorders, and physical fitness.
Provider Network Local & Nationwide
HDC has established local and nationwide programs by carefully screening affiliate providers in locations where a company has employees and their dependents. The key to Human Development Company’s successful affiliate network is relationship building. We choose to develop strategic partnerships, so no matter where an employee is located, they will experience the same quality of service.
